A photographic portfolio of historic motor racing compiled by S. C. H. ('Sammy') Davis, published by Iliffe & Sons for The Autocar in October 1946. The second series covers twelve subjects from 1913 to 1927, including Percy Lambert's 100-miles-in-one-hour record, K. Lee Guinness's Sunbeam, and the Maserati at the 1927 Targa Florio. Davis was a former Brooklands racing driver and one of the foremost motoring journalists of his generation.
