Translated from the German Das Autobuch (Berlin, 1933), this English edition — published by Foulis in April 1936 — covers German motorsport of the early 1930s through the eyes of Auto-Union driver Hans Stuck and co-author E.G. Burggaller. This copy is of exceptional interest as it bears a full autograph inscription by Sir Malcolm Campbell, dated 3 February 1935 — more than a year before publication — to a recipient identified as H.O.N. Shaw. The inscribed leaf is integral to the book. The frontispiece photograph of Campbell with Hans von Stuck establishes the personal connection. The original dust jacket is present.
