An account by Ferdinand-François d'Orléans, Duc de Montpensier, of the first motor journey from Saigon to the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, undertaken in 1908 aboard a Lorraine Diétrich automobile. Published by Plon-Nourrit in 1910, the volume is illustrated with 89 photographs, three colour chromolithographs by the artist Sahib, and two folding maps. This copy is bound in a handsome half red-leather binding with marbled boards consistent with a period binder's binding; the chromolithograph title page is notably well-preserved.
